Abstract
For the purpose of obtaining reference materials for the development of occupational health education programme for the workers, the knowledge-attitude-practice survey was carried out on 415 manual workers and the results were compared with those of the management staffs.
It was found that, though the knowledge of workers in occupational health problems was not abundant and they still regarded occupational health activities in the firm less urgent, they showed rather strong tendency to rely upon physicians and inspectorate when health problems occur and expressed deeper interest in health education than the staffs. Health education delivered by physicians or outside health organizations may shorten the period required in changing their attitude in occupational health.
